[Remote] Principal AI Software Engineer

They are seeking a Principal AI Software Engineer to lead engineering efforts and develop comprehensive AI solutions that support operational intelligence and workflow automation.
Responsibilities
- Agentic AI systems and MCP server development: autonomous task orchestration, tool registries, multi-step reasoning, human-in-the-loop control
- Voice AI and conversational systems built for real operational environments — real-time audio pipelines with production-grade latency, reliability, and concurrent session handling
- Full-stack platform engineering: Next.js / TypeScript frontend, AWS Lambda / serverless backend, DynamoDB, SQS, streaming APIs — delivered complete, multi-tenant, and access-controlled end-to-end
- The full AI model arc — frontier and micro LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, fine-tuning, through to dedicated model training, for both text and image
- Operational data pipelines and self-improving systems that monitor their own performance, surface blind spots, and improve without manual intervention
- AI-accelerated workflows across every function in the company, not just engineering
Skills
- 10+ years designing complex distributed systems, with production intuition from delivering complete, end-to-end software in real environments
- AI-native across the full development lifecycle: Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex are your daily tools, not experiments
- Fluent across the full AI model arc in production — you know when each approach is the right tool
- You've built real agentic systems and designed for failure modes, recovery, and human-in-the-loop control
- You solve across the company, not just your lane, and early stage is genuinely attractive to you
