[Remote] Private Chatterbox Voice-Cloning Setup Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TalentCollyde is seeking a Private Chatterbox Voice-Cloning Setup Engineer for a contract role. The position involves setting up a self-hosted text-to-speech system using the Chatterbox model, building a user-friendly interface, and ensuring the system operates smoothly for non-technical users.
Responsibilities
- Deploy the Chatterbox Multilingual TTS model in a private server/cloud environment
- Build a minimal, password-protected internal page: paste text → select an approved reference voice sample → generate and download audio
- Keep all voice samples and generated audio inside the client's own environment — no public demos or third-party SaaS for production
- Set sensible defaults (speed, tone, expressiveness) so non-technical users never touch technical params
- Configure stable English + Spanish output, Hebrew testable later
- Run QA on quality, reliability, and interface responsiveness; fix critical issues before handover
- Deliver a short written guide with screenshots, basic ops notes (restart/troubleshoot), and transfer credentials to the internal owner
Skills
- Strong Python + environment management
- Hands-on deploying AI/ML models on servers (cloud or on-prem)
- Basic web dev (small internal page or API)
- Security / access-control fundamentals for internal tools
- Prior TTS or speech-model deployment
- Multilingual audio QA (Spanish, Hebrew)
