[Remote] Project Manager Lead
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a Project Manager Lead responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing IT projects. The role involves coordinating resources, defining project objectives, and overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Directs and manages IT project development and delivery from beginning to end
- Facilitates project scope definition in collaboration with project sponsors
- Develops IT project plans and associated communications documents and collaborates with an array of stakeholders, teams, and vendors to ensure the needed resources are available for project success
- Develops and implements strategies to deliver projects according to business objectives and find improvements in the project lifecycle to deliver value sooner
- Guides project through portions of the governance process
- Drafts and submits budget proposals and recommends subsequent budget changes where necessary
- Coaches, mentors, and motivates project team members, influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work
- Works closely with the direct managers of project team members to maintain effective communication channels and ensure the appropriate development of individuals involved in the project
- Builds, develops, and grows relationships vital to the success of the project
Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in leading or facilitating projects in an application development, infrastructure, process, or similar areas is required
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Technical discipline (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or Project Management) and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in leadership or in leading or facilitating projects in an application development, infrastructure, process, or similar areas
