[Remote] Public Relations Senior Account Executive
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Caliber Corporate Advisers is a strategic marketing and communications firm that helps companies connect with key stakeholders. They are seeking a Senior Account Executive who will be responsible for developing and executing creative media relations strategies while serving as the primary contact for clients in the financial services and fintech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Client Liaison: serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a group of clients, working with senior leadership within financial services and fintech companies to ensure proper coverage of client priorities, including:
- Lead client calls and daily communication with clients via email and phone
- Draft client press releases, corporate bios, media pitches, and other written materials, with stellar attention to detail
- Support the senior team on each of your accounts across a number of parameters including measurement of results, drafting of content and media list development
- Researching reporters and building media lists (through databases and DIY) across broadcast, podcast, online and print media outlets
- Development, research, and writing of pitches and story angles targeting specific journalists in B2B and/or B2C spaces, focusing on proactive news hooks and newsjacking opportunities
- Setting and managing evolving internal and external deadlines, ensuring proper communication as the connector between our internal team and clients
Skills
- 3 years minimum relevant experience in PR, fintech or related field
- Intellectual curiosity about businesses and how strategic marketing communications plays a role in a business' growth
- Strong writer with passion for storytelling
- Enthusiasm for fintech and financial services
- Solutions oriented with a ‘can do' attitude
- Passionate communicator with great presentation skills
- Team player, supportive and considerate of others
- A student of the media – identifying new publications, writers and relevant topics
