[Remote] REMOTE Platform Engineer (Terraform, AWS, Kubernetes)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Optomi is partnering with a leading technology client to seek an experienced Platform Engineer for a fully remote position. The role involves building and supporting Kubernetes platforms and designing Terraform modules while implementing CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud security.
Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and support Kubernetes platforms across AWS and Azure environments
- Design and maintain Terraform modules, infrastructure-as-code, and Helm charts
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
- Manage cloud security, access controls, secrets management, and authentication frameworks
- Design monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions for Kubernetes workloads
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable platform services
Skills
- Expert-level experience with Terraform
- Strong Kubernetes and Docker expertise
- Hands-on AWS experience
- Experience building and maintaining Helm charts/templates
- CI/CD automation experience with CircleCI, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD
- Strong scripting skills in Shell, Go, and/or Python
- Knowledge of RBAC, SSO, Teleport, and secrets management solutions
- Experience designing Kubernetes monitoring and alerting frameworks
