[Remote] Remote Sales Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Farmers Insurance Agencies is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Remote Insurance Sales Representative to join their growing team. In this role, you will manage the full sales cycle from your home office, evaluating client needs, presenting tailored coverage options, and closing new business.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-volume outbound follow-ups and field inbound calls to discover prospects' coverage needs
- Evaluate current client policies to identify risk gaps and recommend additions or changes
- Utilize our internal CRM and carrier quoting tools to build accurate, competitive coverage illustrations
- Overcome buyer objections, handle multi-policy negotiations, and securely bind new insurance policies
- Keep accurate, up-to-date documentation of all consumer interactions within our lead tracking software
Skills
- An active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license in either Montana, Wyoming, or Nevada
- Minimum of 1–2 years of successful phone sales, customer service, or retail sales experience
- Comfort navigating digital CRM systems, video conferencing platforms, and quotation software
- A dedicated, quiet home office setup with a secure door to eliminate background distractions
- Hardwired, high-speed internet capability meeting our minimum bandwidth metrics
- Strong negotiation capabilities and the emotional resilience required for a metrics-driven environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex policy rules clearly
- Confident self-management capabilities to remain highly productive without direct visual supervision
