[Remote] Security Engineer

They are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer who will design and implement cloud security controls, develop automation tools, and conduct application security assessments to enhance security operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud security controls across AWS, Azure, or GCP environments with creativity and innovation
- Develop automation scripts and tools that will streamline security operations and enhance compliance—your work will truly make a difference!
- Conduct application security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and collaborate with engineering teams to remediate issues effectively
- Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows, ensuring that security is a key component of our development processes
- Monitor and respond to security incidents with agility, ensuring rapid detection and resolution of any issues
- Write Automations that will revolutionize our security approach!
Skills
- Strong experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Proficiency in coding (Python, Go, or similar)
- Solid understanding of AppSec principles, OWASP Top 10, and secure coding practices
- Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Terraform, Kubernetes security, vulnerability scanners)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps methodologies
- Knowledge of container security
- Knowledge of infrastructure
