[Remote] Senior Accountant Consultant

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sayva Solutions is an accounting, finance, technology, business transformation and human resources professional services firm. They are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant Consultant to support key accounting operations, contribute to an efficient month-end close process, and help ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Prepare and review payroll-related accruals to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts while assisting with ongoing accounting operations
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
• Assist with financial reporting deliverables and support compliance with internal accounting policies
• Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Prior experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm
• Experience supporting a large public company environment
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
• Hands-on experience preparing and analyzing payroll accruals
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment while collaborating across teams
• CPA preferred
