[Remote] Senior Backend Engineer ".Net Core"

Randstad Digital Americas is a premier national security technology firm seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build the infrastructure for next-generation artificial intelligence and defense applications. The role involves designing resilient systems that prioritize access control and reliability in an event-driven platform.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate complex AI agent interactions, assemble dynamic context, and manage conversation states utilizing event-sourced architectures
- Expand a real-time context system that gathers information during runtime from specialized knowledge bases, encompassing memory systems and information retrieval
- Enhance architectural models that allow AI agents to delegate tasks and execute specialized processes concurrently
- Develop the execution layer where agents discover and utilize various tools, ensuring every tenant maintains isolated credentials alongside comprehensive audit logs
- Advance secure, sandboxed code execution environments and establish strict safety guardrails for autonomous operations
Skills
- Robust professional background in .NET Core or a similar modern backend technology stack
- Demonstrated expertise engineering event-driven or event-sourced software architectures
- Proven track record of designing, deploying, and maintaining distributed systems at a production scale
- Hands-on experience utilizing messaging systems such as NATS or JetStream
- Familiarity with managing and scaling Kubernetes in a live production environment
- Proficiency working with MongoDB or comparable document-oriented databases
- Previous experience architecting multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms
- A background in engineering developer tools, AI agent frameworks, or secure code execution platforms
