REMOTE SENIOR CAD ADMINISTRATOR / CAD TECHNOLOGY LEAD
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the US) Hours: Must be available 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time Pay: $40-$60/hr (W2 basis) Duration: 12 Months Work Authorization: US Citizens or Green Card Holders only We are seeking a Senior CAD Administrator / CAD Technology Lead with extensive AutoCAD administration, customization, and enterprise support experience to support large-scale engineering and infrastructure projects. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of advanced AutoCAD experience
- 3-5+ years of CAD Administration or CAD leadership experience
- Strong experience with AutoCAD configuration, customization, and standards development
- Experience supporting enterprise CAD environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead CAD strategy, standards, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Administer and support enterprise AutoCAD environments
- Manage software deployments, licensing, upgrades, and cloud integrations
- Develop and maintain CAD standards, templates, and libraries
- Create customizations and automation solutions using scripting and APIs
- Support CAD data management, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, user support, training, and mentorship
- Collaborate with engineering, design, IT, and project teams
Preferred Experience:
- Autodesk products: Civil 3D, Revit, MEP, Inventor, Navisworks
- Programming/scripting: AutoLISP, VBA, .NET, Python
- Experience with Autodesk Vault, ACC/Forma, PLM, BIM, or Digital Twin environments
- Experience leading CAD/BIM teams or enterprise standardization initiatives
