[Remote] Senior Consultant, Healthcare Consulting – Epidemiology

Clarivate is a company that specializes in healthcare consulting, and they are seeking a Senior Consultant with expertise in Epidemiology. The role involves providing analytical insights, leading client engagements, and developing strategies to address epidemiological challenges.
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and analysis of healthcare datasets to obtain epidemiological insights relevant to client requirements
- Execute complex analytical tasks and research efforts by applying advanced healthcare analytics methods, synthesizing large clinical datasets, and interpreting findings to generate actionable insights for clients
- Develop and implement new analytical approaches and solutions tailored to address specific epidemiological challenges and customer needs
- Contribute to brainstorming and framework development to address key client strategic needs from an epidemiological perspective
- Produce quality client deliverables including PowerPoint presentations, reports, white papers, abstracts, and manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication etc
- Engage on multiple client projects, effectively manage time commitments, and assume greater leadership and project management responsibilities over time
- Mentor and guide junior consultants in their professional development and project execution, with a focus on healthcare-related skills and knowledge
- Support senior team members in business development efforts including greenfield research, developing proposals, and responding to RFP’s
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in relevant field
- 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience in patient population sizing and forecasting
- Experience in R, Python, or SAS
- Direct experience with biopharma or life sciences customers
- Experience with all Microsoft Office products is critical, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Word
- MPH or MSc in Epidemiology or equivalent in a related field
- PhD would be a plus
