[Remote] Senior Consultant, Oracle HCM Talent and Learning - U.S. or Canada

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Huron is a global consultancy that collaborates with clients to drive strategic growth and navigate constant change. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for driving the design, configuration, and delivery of Talent Management and Learning workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations, serving as a functional subject matter expert across Oracle Talent modules and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Driving the design, configuration, and delivery of Talent Management and Learning workstreams within full lifecycle HCM implementations, including requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, solution design, system configuration, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover, and post-go-live support
• Serving as a functional subject matter expert across Oracle Talent modules - such as Performance Management, Goals, Career Development, Succession Planning, and Talent Review - as well as Oracle Learning, including learning catalogs, assignments, certifications, and compliance tracking
• Partnering closely with HR, L&D, and business stakeholders to translate talent and learning strategies into scalable Oracle solutions aligned to best practices
• Facilitating design workshops, managing testing cycles, and resolving functional issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with Core HR and other HCM modules
• Supporting reporting and analytics needs, and developing documentation and training materials
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring high-quality delivery of talent development and workforce enablement solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to this position or equivalent work experience
• 3-5 years of experience analyzing requirements, writing functional specifications, conducting tests, troubleshooting issues and interfacing with business users
• 1-2 years of experience owning project workstreams with little to no supervision
• Ability to solve complex problems creatively with strong critical thinking
• Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands-on expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed to work with client or other internal project teams
• Canadian citizenship is required for TN visa travel to the U.S. as needed
