[Remote] Senior Data Analyst

Forward Financing is a financial technology company based in Boston, Massachusetts, dedicated to unlocking capital for small businesses across America. They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to leverage internal data and modern data stack to provide insights that enhance operations and business outcomes across all departments.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in navigating and generating insights from internal databases (including Salesforce)
- Partner with various departments to identify and outline data needs and requirements
- Work with Tableau and SQL to build customized dashboards, visual analyses, and self-serve tools for key stakeholders
- Leverage Snowflake Intelligence and Claude to build, optimize, and deploy AI-driven insights, automated reporting pipelines, or natural language querying tools for business teams
- Contribute to work across the Analytics department, including Analytics Engineering and Data Science
Skills
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)
- 4+ years of professional experience in a dedicated business intelligence or analytics role
- 2+ years of experience working directly within a Snowflake data warehouse environment
- 1+ years of experience working with Snowflake Intelligence or integrating Claude to automate workflows, process unstructured data, or enhance BI tools
- Ability to perform complex joins and transformations on data using SQL
- Experience building data visualizations with Tableau or similar tools (e.g., Looker, PowerBI)
- Strong knowledge of Excel (vlookup, index/match, pivot tables, calculations)
- Experience using DBT
- Experience using Git
- Experience using Python
