[Remote] Senior Data Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. InterEx Group is a high-growth organization seeking a Senior Data Engineer who can operate at the design and architecture level. The role involves driving data platform design decisions, translating architectural requirements into scalable solutions, and improving existing pipelines using modern design approaches.
Responsibilities
- Drive data platform design decisions and help evolve engineering programs beyond legacy SSIS-style patterns
- Translate architectural requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions
- Improve existing pipelines and introduce modern design approaches
- Work closely with technical and product teams to ensure platform reliability and performance
Skills
- Strong experience as a Senior Data Engineer working with modern Azure data platforms
- Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Lakehouse / warehouse architecture
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience designing and implementing Medallion architecture and Gold-layer semantic models
- API-based integration experience is highly desirable
- Experience integrating or working alongside Salesforce CRM environments is a plus
