[Remote] Senior Director Strategic Finance

They are seeking a Senior Director of Strategic Finance to serve as a strategic and financial thought partner, helping to define operating cadence and translate business drivers into KPIs and investment priorities.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary finance partner to the General Manager, helping shape strategy and business performance
- Partner cross-functionally to establish KPIs, measure strategic initiatives, and drive accountability
- Advise leadership on resource allocation, investment decisions, and key business tradeoffs
- Own the business scorecard and identify key financial and operational growth drivers
- Lead driver-based analyses to uncover opportunities and improve performance
- Build investment cases by evaluating ROI, unit economics, assumptions, and execution risk
- Deliver executive-ready recommendations backed by clear financial analysis
- Own forecasting and business performance reporting, communicating risks, opportunities, and recommended actions
- Translate complex analyses into dashboards and decision-making tools that enable better execution
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Corporate Strategy, or a related field, partnering closely with senior business leaders
- Exceptional financial modeling skills, including forecasting, scenario analysis, unit economics, and investment evaluation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of turning data into actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive execution in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Investment banking + PE investing experience before pivoting to an operating role. Experience supporting Product, Commercial, or Operations organizations ideal
- Background in high-growth technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or digital health
- Familiarity with SQL, BigQuery, Looker, Sigma, or similar analytics tools
