[Remote] Senior Human Resources Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Frazer Jones is an established, specialist law firm seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead its firmwide HR function. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving HR strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, and ensuring best-in-class people practices across a growing, multi-office environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead firmwide recruiting strategy across attorneys and business services
- Partner with senior stakeholders on hiring plans, forecasting, and search firm management
- Track and analyse recruitment metrics; ensure compliance across all hiring processes
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership on workforce planning, organisational design, and culture
- Lead and develop the HR team, driving performance and accountability
- Oversee performance management, compensation planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Support DEI programmes in partnership with internal committees
- Oversee employment law compliance, policies, and handbook updates
- Manage complex employee relations matters, including investigations and performance management processes
- Ensure HR processes are scalable, compliant, and audit-ready
- Provide oversight of HR operations including benefits, HRIS, and data governance
- Partner cross-functionally with payroll, finance, IT, and operations teams
- Support internal career development and progression programmes
Skills
- 10+ years' progressive HR experience, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and full-cycle recruitment
- Proven experience leading and developing HR teams
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- Experience within a law firm or professional services environment strongly preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred)
- Advanced degree and/or SHRM-SCP/SPHR desirable
