[Remote] Senior MuleSoft Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Omm IT Solutions is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Consultant to assist in modernizing enterprise resource planning and financial ecosystems. The consultant will leverage the MuleSoft ecosystem to build automated, API-led integration architecture connecting critical SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of APIs using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Develop reusable MuleSoft components, connectors, RAML specifications, and comprehensive technical documentation
- Architect and maintain integration flows connecting multiple SaaS platforms, managing the end-to-end API lifecycle
- Configure API security policies, gateways, SLAs, and continuous monitoring through MuleSoft administrative tools to ensure secure data transmission
- Participate in integration testing, error handling design, root-cause defect analysis, and performance optimization
- Track integration defects and technical environment risks, categorizing issues by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low) in a weekly progress log
- Participate in mandatory weekly progress meetings with the designated project manager
Skills
- Extensive, hands-on expertise with the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Runtime Manager)
- Expert-level proficiency in DataWeave
- Proven experience developing, deploying, and supporting REST APIs and specialized Mule applications
- Strong mastery of API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and enterprise integration patterns (EIP)
- Documented experience integrating two or more SaaS systems within an enterprise environment
- Advanced proficiency with JSON, XML, RAML, OAuth2, TLS, and modern API security standards
- Proven ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into technical integration requirements
- Direct experience designing or building API integrations with CGI Advantage 4.0, Workday, PaymentWorks, Tyler Munis, or Euna Grants
- Experience designing integrations or middleware solutions for government or public sector environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or DevOps CI/CD pipelines
- Active MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD – Level 1 or 2) or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect certifications
