[Remote] Senior Network Engineer

The role involves designing, operating, and continuously improving local area networks, wide area networks, and wireless networks while collaborating with a team to ensure efficient communications across branch offices.
Responsibilities
- Design and improve LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to enhance connectivity and performance
- Collaborate with network staff to resolve issues and propose design improvements
- Monitor and maintain all network connectivity to support efficient branch office communications
- Coordinate with third-party support on complex infrastructure issues, serving as the incident owner
- Implement enterprise remote access solutions such as SSL VPNs and SDWAN
Skills
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on network design and implementation
- Hands-on experience configuring BGP, OSPF, IPSEC site-to-site VPN, DMVPN, VoIP, and NAT
- Proficient understanding of LAN/WAN fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and wireless technologies
- Experience with backup and restore technologies and best practices
