[Remote] Senior Principal Business Solutions (Pre-Sales) – Insurance Billing

The Senior Principal Business Solutions role involves collaborating with sales teams to modernize billing processes for insurers, leading discussions and demonstrating how solutions can address business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the billing and accounts receivable domain expert within the presales organization
- Partner with sales teams to understand customer pain points, modernization goals, and operational challenges
- Lead discovery conversations, workshops, and functional solution discussions with insurance carriers and MGAs
- Translate business requirements into solution narratives and functional positioning
- Support demos, use cases, customer presentations, and RFI/RFP responses
- Help insurers evaluate system replacement and transformation initiatives across billing and policy operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve demo assets, reusable collateral, and sales enablement content
- Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve research, demo preparation, customer engagement, and pre-sales productivity
Skills
- Deep expertise in P&C insurance billing and accounts receivable operations in the North American market
- Experience with commercial insurance billing platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, Insurity, or similar solutions
- Strong understanding of Personal and Commercial Lines business processes
- Ability to connect business needs with solution capabilities and transformation outcomes
- Experience gathering and defining functional requirements
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Background as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Billing Supervisor, Systems Analyst, Solution Consultant, or related role within insurance technology or carrier operations
- Experience supporting software demos, pre-sales engagements, or enterprise solution presentations
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve workflows, content development, and customer engagement
