[Remote] Senior Product Designer [211164]
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Skill is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Product Designer to join a dynamic team on a temporary basis. The role involves contributing to existing web-based utility platform projects, designing new features, and collaborating closely with product managers and engineers.
Responsibilities
- Quickly onboard and contribute to existing web-based utility platform projects
- Provide design support, answer questions, and perform QA on active development
- Design new features and solutions for scoped projects, particularly for marketplace or e-commerce seller tools
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design lifecycle
- Clearly articulate design decisions, rationale, and ideas to cross-functional partners
- Contribute to the strategic thinking and approach for new design initiatives
Skills
- Must have product experience designing for marketplace or e-commerce seller tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating extensive experience in web-based utility platform design, custom solutions, or marketplace/e-commerce seller tools
- Expert proficiency in Figma for design, prototyping, and handoff
- Comfortable using communication and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Meet
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex design concepts
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated empathy for users and a creatively driven approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work autonomously in a senior capacity and quickly adapt to new projects and team dynamics
