[Remote] Senior Project Manager

Square One Resources is a sector-leading data analytics company, and they are currently looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team for a twelve-month contract. The role focuses on managing complex, cross-functional initiatives with a strong emphasis on risk management and governance.
Responsibilities
- Strong project management experience, preferably within complex, cross-functional or regulated environments
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without authority
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and performance tracking frameworks
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms)
- Experience leveraging AI tools within their project management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, drive strategic outcomes, and align projects to business objectives
- Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., financial services, data privacy, compliance) preferred
Skills
- Strong project management experience, preferably within complex, cross-functional or regulated environments
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proven ability to lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders without authority
- Strong understanding of project governance, risk management, and performance tracking frameworks
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive reporting skills
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms)
- Experience leveraging AI tools within their project management practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, drive strategic outcomes, and align projects to business objectives
- Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA or Master's in Project Management)
- Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies preferred
