[Remote] Senior Thermal Engineer

This role involves transforming complex partner requirements into innovative thermal hardware, managing concepts through testing, and promoting advanced computational workflows.
Responsibilities
- Turns complex partner requirements into original, simulation-backed thermal hardware
- Owns concepts through testing while challenging conventional architectures
- Accelerates invention with advanced computational workflows
Skills
- PhD in engineering
- Advanced degree in thermal, mechanical, or fluid systems
- 5+ years designing heat exchangers or cooling hardware
- Builds first-principles thermal models in Python, MATLAB, or EES
- Strong CFD expertise with conjugate and multiphase simulations
- Experience validating designs through physical testing and data
- Designed parts for metal additive manufacturing processes
- Experience with liquid cooling or high-density thermal systems
- Familiarity with generative or topology optimization tools
- Worked with suppliers to deliver production-ready hardware
- Startup experience delivering complex hardware quickly
