[Remote] SEO Strategist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zero Gravity Marketing is seeking a mid-level SEO Strategist to improve organic visibility, traffic, and conversions for client websites. The role involves executing SEO strategies, performing technical audits, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance overall marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
- Execute SEO strategies across multiple client accounts under the guidance of senior SEO leadership
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, metadata improvements, and content recommendations
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify improvement opportunities and assist with implementation plans
- Monitor industry and algorithm changes to ensure client strategies stay current
- Work closely with content, web development, and account teams to ensure SEO is integrated into broader marketing efforts
- Provide SEO support for campaign launches, content planning, and website enhancements
- Participate in client calls as needed to present insights and share progress updates
- Analyze organic performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms
- Create monthly performance reports with key findings, optimizations completed, and data-driven next-step recommendations
- Identify trends and proactively surface new ideas to improve results
Skills
- 2–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and foundational technical SEO concepts
- Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Semrush, and/or Ahrefs
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable presenting performance insights and reporting directly to clients
- Familiarity with AI-driven SEO tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini) or emerging search technologies
- Experience with project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Monday.com)
- SEO or analytics-related certifications
