[Remote] Software Engineer

Exert Infotech LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join their engineering team as an entry-level Software Developer. The role involves designing, building, testing, and maintaining scalable software applications alongside experienced developers.
Responsibilities
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Assist in developing web, mobile, or backend applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, product, QA)
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Participate in code reviews and team meetings
- Learn and apply new technologies quickly
- Contribute to documentation and technical specs
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
- Knowledge of at least one programming language: Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or similar
- Basic understanding of: Git/version control
- Basic understanding of: Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Basic understanding of: APIs and web services
- Internship or project experience
- Familiarity with frameworks: React, Angular, Node.js, Spring Boot, Django
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Personal or open-source projects (GitHub portfolio)
