[Remote] Software Engineer

Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications to meet business and user needs
- Create tickets, stories, and epics describing the task and associated success metrics and time commitment
- Write technical documentation relating to engineering projects and processes
- Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Participate in design, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the software development lifecycle
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related degrees
- Education, coursework, or experience in all of the following: Coding in programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
- Machine Learning
- System Programming
- Analysis of Algorithms
- Data Visualization
