[Remote] Software Procurement Program Manager

Educated Solutions Corp is seeking an experienced Software Procurement Program Manager to join their premier client’s Global Procurement organization. This role involves negotiating strategic agreements with technology suppliers and managing software renewals to drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of software procurement projects from intake through contract execution
- Lead commercial negotiations with third-party software suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable contract terms
- Proactively manage upcoming software renewals to mitigate business risk and maximize savings opportunities
- Review and prioritize sourcing requests submitted by business stakeholders
- Partner with internal customers to understand software requirements and procurement strategies
- Drive sourcing initiatives that align with organizational software expense reduction goals
- Analyze supplier proposals, pricing models, licensing structures, and contract terms
- Collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Track project milestones, procurement metrics, and savings opportunities while providing regular status updates
- Communicate procurement strategies, negotiation outcomes, and project progress to senior leadership
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, increase efficiency, and enhance supplier performance
- Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines
Skills
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or program management experience
- 5+ years of experience managing complex projects from initiation through completion
- Demonstrated experience negotiating commercial contracts with third-party suppliers
- Strong procurement and strategic sourcing experience
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels
- Experience using data, metrics, and reporting to drive business decisions and continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience negotiating enterprise software or SaaS agreements
- Software procurement or IT sourcing experience
- Knowledge of software licensing models and technology vendor management
- Experience supporting enterprise cost optimization or software expense reduction initiatives
- Strong analytical and financial negotiation skills
