[Remote] Software QA Tester
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RIT Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software QA Tester with experience in the Government Education industry or educational institutions. The role involves advanced computer systems analysis, leading testing teams, and providing software testing services to support the Texas Education Agency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements, design documents and other documentation to develop detailed test cases
- Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases, report and document all issues, test cases ran, test results, and testing summaries in detail
- Perform manual testing and data validation
- Perform SQL queries to analyze and manipulate data
- Work with development team and customers to clearly understand the functionality under test to define and implement test case automation and clearly communicate to the team
- Execute performance and accessibility testing
Skills
- 7 Years Experience Testing Complex Web Applications
- 7 Testing all phases of Software Development Life Cycle
- 6 Advance Database/SQL Language
- 6 Testing automation experience with Java and TestNG
- 4 Experience creating automation test frameworks using Playwright
- 4 Experience with WAPT Pro, Jmeter, or other performance testing tools
- 3 Experience using GitHub CoPilot or other AI Tools to generate Test Scripts
- 3 Year Experience with Workflow Driven Automation
- Work experience with Atlassian JIRA
- Work experience with Zephyr
- Experience working closely with TEA or another state or local agency
- Experience working with Educator Prep Program and partnerships
- Experience with Educator Certification
