[Remote] Sr. Content Strategist

Responsibilities

  • Analyze digital ecosystems and customer journeys to identify opportunities for connected and discovery-driven experiences
  • Create scalable content structures including taxonomy, metadata frameworks, information architecture (IA), and content models
  • Develop content strategies that strengthen discoverability across search engines, AI-powered experiences, and emerging interfaces
  • Build foundational systems that support AI-driven personalization, content reuse, and automation initiatives
  • Transform complex business requirements and inputs into clear strategies, frameworks, and client-ready deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Search, UX/XD, Product, Engineering, and agency partners to drive alignment and execution
  • Support content ecosystem planning and implementation through hands-on execution and strategic thinking
  • Maintain a high standard of quality across documentation, recommendations, and deliverables

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in Content Strategy, Digital Strategy, Information Architecture, UX Content Strategy, or related disciplines
  • Strong hands-on experience building content systems and scalable digital ecosystems
  • Expertise in taxonomy, metadata structures, and information architecture (required)
  • Proven experience translating complex inputs into actionable strategic recommendations
  • Experience collaborating with UX/XD, Search, Product, and Engineering teams
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience creating both short- and long-form strategic deliverables
  • Proficiency with Figma and modern collaboration tools such as Miro or similar platforms
  • Background working in agency, consulting, or cross-functional environments preferred
  • Experience within CPG, retail, hospitality, entertainment, or related industries is a plus
