[Remote] Sr. Oracle Database Administrator

They are seeking an experienced Sr. Oracle Database Administrator to oversee the administration, maintenance, performance, and security of enterprise Oracle database environments supporting federal government initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, monitor, and maintain Oracle database environments across development, testing, and production
- Manage Oracle databases in standalone and multitenant architectures on Windows, Linux, and Unix platforms, both on-premises and in cloud environments
- Implement and maintain high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions using Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, GoldenGate, and export/import utilities
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and perform performance tuning to optimize system reliability and efficiency
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code, stored procedures, and database objects
- Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning while minimizing system downtime
Skills
- 10+ years of experience in conducting Oracle database administration
- Extensive experience in administering Oracle database in standalone and multitenant architecture on Windows/Linux/Unix on premises and in cloud environments
- Extensive experience in Oracle data guard implementation, RMAN backups, export/import, GoldenGate setup and configuration, and job scheduling and monitoring
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Oracle client
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Experiences with Oracle version 19c
- Oracle on Linux
- MySQL on Ubuntu
