[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer

The role involves solving complex technical challenges, contributing to system design, and delivering scalable software while also supporting team growth through mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Build, enhance, and maintain secure, efficient, and scalable software solutions
- Write clean, maintainable, and production‑ready code aligned with established engineering standards
- Participate in collaborative code reviews and contribute to shared technical ownership
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement improvements across systems
- Develop and execute unit tests and support broader testing efforts, including integration and regression testing
- Contribute to reliable release processes, including automated builds and deployments
- Assist with diagnosing and resolving production issues, including root‑cause analysis
- Collaborate with peers to design and implement software components and services
- Apply widely accepted design patterns and engineering best practices
- Contribute to technical discussions related to security, resilience, performance, and scalability
- Support and guide less‑experienced engineers as needed
- Promote consistent development practices and knowledge sharing within the team
- Explore and introduce new tools, techniques, and ideas that improve product quality and team efficiency
Skills
- Financial Service experience required
- Work authorization to work in the US
- Approximately 6–9 years of relevant, hands-on software engineering experience
- Strong software development and engineering fundamentals
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage work independently and prioritize effectively
- Comfort operating as a senior contributor without daily supervision
- Snowflake, .NET or C#
- Relevant technical certifications are beneficial but not required
