[Remote] Strategic Programs Analyst

They are seeking a Strategic Programs Analyst to facilitate Agile delivery, conduct business analysis, and manage technical projects, ensuring clarity and accountability in program execution.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews
- Maintain and groom the program backlog in partnership with the VP and business stakeholders
- Track team velocity, sprint progress, and delivery milestones; escalate blockers proactively
- Support the adoption of Agile best practices across teams and business units
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to clarify objectives and desired outcomes
- Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Analyze current-state processes and identify opportunities for improvement or automation
- Support ROI and cost-benefit analysis in preparation for executive prioritization
- Maintain project plans, timelines, and status trackers across active initiatives
- Coordinate with technology, product, and operations teams on dependencies and delivery schedules
- Document decisions, action items, and meeting notes; distribute to appropriate stakeholders
- Monitor risks and issues; support the VP in escalating and resolving as needed
- Support the VP with executive reporting, dashboards, and presentations
- Serve as a point of contact for project updates, intake coordination, and stakeholder communications
- Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and other business units to keep programs aligned and on track
- Prepare and distribute program status updates, ensuring visibility across the organization
- Manage and maintain program tracking in Monday.com, Jira, or equivalent platforms
- Ensure project data is current, accurate, and accessible to all relevant stakeholders
- Identify and implement improvements to program management workflows and templates
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a deeply technical role including business analysis, Agile delivery, or technical project management
- Hands-on experience facilitating Agile/Scrum ceremonies and managing program backlogs
- AI Experience with a major LLM driving individual and organizational efficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent)
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- CSM (Certified Scrum Master), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in fintech, payments, or financial services
- Experience supporting a senior leader or executive in a program management capacity
- Familiarity with FinOps, cost-benefit analysis, or ROI modeling
