They are seeking Technical Consultants to work on project teams delivering services to state government agencies in various areas such as healthcare, child support, and unemployment insurance. Responsibilities include addressing technical aspects of projects, analyzing technology infrastructure, and assessing test and data conversion plans.
Responsibilities
- Addressing technical aspects of projects, including gathering and assessing technical requirements and some aspects of the business areas
- Analyzing and making recommendations on improving technology infrastructure
- Assessing test plans and test execution
- Assessing data conversion plans and data conversion execution
- Technology strategy and planning for hardware, software, and large-scale system implementation projects
- Analyzing and documenting existing systems and databases
Skills
- Expertise with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working as a member of a project team functioning as a technical analyst for large-scale technology projects utilizing agile and waterfall methodologies
- Facilitating the elicitation and documentation of technical requirements and joint application design sessions
- Communicating project issues and risks to the project management team
- Familiarity with working as a Consultant on state government projects is a plus
- Addressing technical aspects of projects, including gathering and assessing technical requirements and some aspects of the business areas
- Analyzing and making recommendations on improving technology infrastructure
- Assessing test plans and test execution
- Assessing data conversion plans and data conversion execution
