[Remote] UKG Pro Payroll Accounting Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. MEDCO is seeking an experienced Payroll Accounting Specialist for a 100% remote role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing multi-state payroll accurately and ensuring compliance with payroll regulations while supporting the Finance Department.
Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll accurately and on time
- Manage payroll activities using UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM)
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Reconcile payroll data and support payroll accounting functions
- Research and resolve payroll discrepancies
- Assist with payroll reporting, audits, and year-end processing
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance Department on a variety of projects
Skills
- Experience processing payroll for a multi-state workforce
- Hands-on experience with UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM)
- Strong knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Payroll accounting experience is a plus
