[Remote] Visual/UI Designer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Thomson Reuters is seeking a Visual/UI Designer for their AI Legal Assistant product. The role involves owning the visual design and UI, delivering high-quality designs, and defining user interactions that enhance the user experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end visual design and UI for an AI-powered legal assistant product
- Deliver consumer-grade designs, quality benchmarked against leading AI interfaces (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini)
- Define micro-animations, transitions, and motion design that elevate the user experience and deliver "wow" moments
Skills
- Excellent visual design craft with a sharp, opinionated POV on what market-leading AI UX looks like
- Proficiency in AI-assisted prototyping tools — v0, Figma Make, or equivalent (static wireframes alone won't cut it)
- Ability to design and communicate interaction states, not just static screens
- Comfortable partnering closely with Front End Engineers from early in the design process
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a small, collaborative team
- Moves quickly from concept to testable prototype without sacrificing quality
