[Remote] VP/Director of Finance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Alexander Technology Group is seeking a VP of Finance for an Investment Fund focused on strategy and growth. This role involves coordinating with auditors, managing cash flow forecasts, and overseeing financial reporting processes for the fund and its portfolio companies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with external auditors, including Deloitte, and portfolio companies to support the preparation and filing of tax returns
- Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts for portfolio companies to support liquidity planning and funding decisions
- Draft and distribute funding communications and capital call-related emails to portfolio companies and stakeholders
- Monitor portfolio company funding needs and ensure companies receive appropriate and timely funding allocations
- Support quarterly and annual financial reporting processes for the fund and portfolio companies
- Review and approve bank transfers in accordance with internal controls and fund policies
- Assist with onboarding new portfolio companies into the fund, including operational setup and documentation coordination
- Maintain accurate financial records, reporting schedules, and supporting documentation
Skills
- CPA is required
- Need someone with a Tax background – this person will be working with Deloitte and the portfolio companies to file tax returns
- Financial Reporting

- Due Diligence/Compliance background
- M&A exposure
- VC/PE background would be very helpful
