Responsibilities
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications and services. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from team members. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues. Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features and enhancements. Contribute to automation, tooling, and process improvements. Learn and apply software engineering best practices and development methodologies.
Qualifications
Required Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming. Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or C++. Familiarity with software development lifecycle and version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with web development frameworks and APIs. Knowledge of databases, SQL, and data modeling. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Personal, academic, or open-source software projects demonstrating technical skills. Rate: $22/Hour Centific is an equal-opportunity employer.
