Job Title: Senior AI Engineer with Java (W2 & Full-Time | Remote Possible) Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Remote Possible) Employment Type: Full-Time / W2 Position Overview We are seeking a Senior AI Applications Engineer to design and develop AI-powered solutions that improve business operations and engineering productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong software engineering experience, hands-on exposure to Generative AI technologies, and expertise building scalable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy AI-driven applications, assistants, and automation solutions.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into enterprise systems and workflows.
- Develop scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices.
- Create AI-powered tools to improve operational efficiency and developer productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement AI opportunities.
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies and develop proof-of-concepts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled applications.
- Strong programming skills in Java and experience with REST APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Llama, or similar AI platforms.
- LangChain, LangGraph, RAG, AI Agents, and Vector Databases.
- Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience building AI copilots, intelligent assistants, or workflow automation solutions.
