Senior DevOps/Remote 6 mth+ contract
Software Integration Engineer Primary Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement software integrations and developer tools to optimize software delivery Lead a cross-functional Cloud Operations and Cloud engineering teams supporting infrastructure services Enforce sound practices in key operational areas: Config management, Change Management, Incident Management, User Management, Networking and Security services Collaborate with the development team to streamline code deployment Implement automation tools and frameworks Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation (Runbooks/Playbooks) Manage comprehensive Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and guide the development projects in all infrastructure-related matters Ensures all IT infrastructure is secure, well-designed, and supports all parts of the development cycle. Mentor and support other Engineers across different experience levels and foster growth by setting challenging goals Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding of software development practices and web applications development Expertise in network, server and application-status monitoring Expertise with Database operations and deployment Expertise with Configuration Management Tools (Chef) Expertise with building infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) Expertise with CI/CD automation tools (Jenkins, Github Actions) Working knowledge of Containers and Container Orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes) Expertise in managing AWS Cloud Infrastructure Experience with DevSecOps tools
