Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of high-tech industry/product engineering/IT experience.
- 3-5 years of experience with:
- Node.js (TypeScript, Express)
- Angular
- React (preferred)
- MySQL or other relational databases
- MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
- Unix, RedHat Linux or derivatives (preferred)
- Developing enterprise-wide software solutions (preferred)
- Custom business applications (preferred)
- Perl (preferred)
- Apache (preferred)
- Business Intelligence, Big Data, or analytics (preferred)
- Experience with git version control
- Experience in the education industry or working with educational data (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support learning systems applications and 3rd party product integrations.
- Develop, test, document, and implement high-quality learning system applications based on specifications and requirements.
- Analyze and correct performance deficiencies in programs.
- Adhere to development standards to ensure code maintainability for team development.
- Modify software applications or architecture to resolve issues and accommodate future growth.
- Participate in code reviews and necessary meetings.
- Develop effective working relationships with other departments and groups.
- Provide weekly status reports to IT supervisors.
- Meet professional obligations, including deadlines, schedules, and resource coordination.
