Title: Senior Technical Specialist ( DBT ) Location: Hyderabad/Bengaluru/Mumbai Education: Any Degree ( Computer Science ) Job Description: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions Build and manage dbt models, including: Incremental models Snapshots Tests Macros Develop efficient and optimized SQL queries for data transformation and analysis Implement and maintain data models (dimensional/star/snowflake schemas) Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into robust data solutions Build and maintain semantic layers for business consumption Ensure high standards of data quality, reliability, and performance Must-Have Skills Strong expertise in dbt (Data Build Tool) -- hands-on experience is mandatory Advanced SQL proficiency Strong understanding of data warehouse modeling concepts Experience in building and managing semantic layers Good-to-Have Skills (Optional): Experience with BI tools such as: Power BI Looker Tableau Amazon QuickSight Exposure to cloud data platforms like: Amazon Redshift Snowflake Databricks Experience in DAG creation using Apache Airflow Exposure to AI/ML models or agents for development, testing, or deployment automation Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as: Terraform Pulumi AWS CloudFormation Datavail is a leading provider of data management, application development, analytics, and cloud services, with more than 1,000 professionals helping clients build and manage applications and data via a world-class tech-enabled delivery platform and software solutions across all leading technologies.
