Site Reliability Engineer (SAP S/4HANA & Java SRE Engineer – Incident & Problem Management)

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: Florida (USA) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA & Java Engineer with expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM), and Incident Management. You will act as the primary point of contact for high-severity incidents, driving end-to-end resolution while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your role will ensure system reliability, rapid issue resolution, and continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures.

Experience: 4–7 years Key Responsibilities: Incident & Problem Management:

• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical incidents, ensuring rapid response and resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and postmortems to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Provide structured updates to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring transparency.

Technical Troubleshooting & Collaboration:

• Investigate and resolve complex issues in SAP S/4HANA (R&D Engineering, EPPM) and Java-based applications.
• Work closely with developers, QA, product owners, and infrastructure teams to drive solutions.
• Ensure handshake between teams for accountability and timely resolution.

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):

• Apply SRE best practices to improve system reliability, performance, and automation.
• Troubleshoot day-to-day operations in Java/open-source environments.
• Identify known errors and implement long-term fixes.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive Agile methodology in incident and problem management.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance system stability.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA (R&D Engineering, Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management).
• 4+ years of hands-on Java development and open-source technologies.
• Strong SRE background with expertise in incident management, RCA, and high-severity issue resolution.
• Exceptional communication & stakeholder management – ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Problem-solving mindset – designing reliable, long-term solutions.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Must be local to Fort Lauderdale, FL.
