SQL Data Analyst
SQL Data Analyst Remote Contract role Job Summary: This role is primarily technical (80%) with a functional component (20%), focusing on healthcare data reporting, technical specifications, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and healthcare data, particularly within Medicaid/Medicare environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support analytics needs
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Perform detailed data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Create and manage source-to-target mappings and technical specifications
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and finalize business and technical requirements
- Support healthcare data reporting initiatives and analytics requests
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst with strong technical skills
- Hands-on experience with:
- Power BI (report and dashboard development)
- SQL (data querying and manipulation)
- Experience working with healthcare data, preferably Medicaid or Medicare
- Strong data analysis, data validation, and problem-solving skills
