Your Responsibilities Choose article topics selected from a pool. Research and write original travel articles. Pitch article topics to our Editorial team. Be a dedicated and consistent contributor to the site. Follow TheTravel's general Editorial Guidelines while producing unique and high-quality content. Produce articles in a timely manner to ensure that the latest industry news and most interesting content are always available to TheTravel's loyal readers. Work under tight deadlines and submit tasks on time. Work with Lead Editor to implement feedback efficiently.

Experience and Skills Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field. 5 years of experience in producing travel and related content. In-depth familiarity with and fierce passion for the travel industry, especially the latest travel content. Experience with SEO practices. Experience with a custom CMS, preferred. Park ranger, NPS staffer, or seasoned parks/outdoors expert with 5+ yrs experience. Knows permits, trails, seasonal conditions, and park safety firsthand.
