UK - Online English Tutor (KS3, 11+ & GCSE) – Remote
This is a remote position. We are expanding and looking for passionate, experienced English Tutors to support students across the UK. Subjects include:
- KS3 English
- 11+ 12+ 13+ English Preparation
- GCSE English Language & Literature
- Creative Writing
- Verbal Reasoning
Key Areas for 11+, KS3 & GCSE:
- Reading comprehension, creative writing & analytical skills
- Essay and extended writing techniques
- Grammar, punctuation & vocabulary development
- Shakespeare, poetry & modern texts
- Creative and transactional writing
- Exam techniques, revision strategies & coursework support
Entrance Exam Board Experience: CSSE , FSCE , GL Assessment Independent school entrance exams AQA, OCR, Edexcel
Requirements
Key Requirements: ✔ Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum for 11+, KS3 & GCSE English ✔ Previous tutoring or teaching experience ✔ Excellent communication skills ✔ Ability to deliver engaging, student-focused online lessons ✔ Professional online teaching setup with reliable internet ✔ Commitment to safeguarding and child protection Successful applicants will be required to complete safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check and references. Desirable:
- Experience preparing students for grammar and independent school entrance exams
- UK school or tutoring background
- Safeguarding training
- Strong creative writing teaching skills
