Underwriting Counsel (Remote – Massachusetts)
Our client, a well-established national title insurance and real estate services organization, is seeking an experienced Underwriting Counsel to join their team. This is a fully remote opportunity for candidates residing in Massachusetts. This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in real estate title insurance and settlement services who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to agents, internal teams, and clients. In this role, you'll provide underwriting guidance on complex title matters, review and authorize title insurance commitments and policies, support underwriting initiatives, and help drive best practices across the region. You'll also have the opportunity to build strong relationships with agents and industry partners while contributing to educational initiatives and product development. The ideal candidate will have a J.D., be admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, and possess extensive knowledge of Massachusetts real estate law, title insurance, and settlement practices. Strong communication, sound legal judgment, and the ability to navigate complex underwriting issues are essential.
