Virtual CFO / Fractional CFO for Growing Finance Advisory Firm - Contract to Hire

We are looking for experienced Virtual CFOs to support a growing finance and accounting advisory firm serving clients ranging from approximately $2MM to $50MM in annual revenue. Our clients are growing small to mid-sized businesses that need better financial visibility, stronger decision support, and more structure around their finance function. This role is ideal for finance leaders who are client-facing, practical, hands-on, and comfortable working with business owners who need more than basic accounting support. We are looking for two types of CFO support. The first is a “CFO Lite” profile: someone who can own the monthly CFO cadence, including financial statement review, cash flow management, forecasting, KPI reporting, budget-to-actual analysis, and helping business owners understand their numbers. The second is a more senior CFO profile: someone who can go deeper with clients on turnaround strategies, profitability improvement, growth planning, financial modeling, financing readiness, acquisitions, operational controls, and broader strategic decision-making. This position will begin on a fractional or project basis, but has the potential to grow into a larger leadership role and full-time opportunity within our firm. We have an active and growing pipeline of clients and are looking for CFOs who want to spend less time prospecting for work and more time serving business owners. As we continue to scale, we are looking for CFOs who may be interested in helping build our internal CFO platform, support client delivery standards, mentor finance team members, participate selectively in business development, and become a long-term leader within the company.
