Key Qualifications for our Virtual Medical Biller / Assistant / Receptionist (Part-Time) We are looking for a Virtual Medical Biller & Reception Assistant to join our team in a part-time, remote role. This position is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy professional with experience in medical billing and front office duties. You will support medical practices nationwide, ensuring smooth billing operations and providing excellent virtual receptionist services.

About the Role

Fully remote, work-from-home position (applicants can be located anywhere in the U.S.). Part-time role requiring 10-15 hours per week. Availability required Monday-Friday during normal business hours until 5 PM. W2 employee position (not a 1099 contractor role). Work involves computer and phone-based tasks, using multiple healthcare software applications throughout the day. Medical Billing Responsibilities Processing insurance claims and payments. Verifying patient insurance eligibility and benefits. Managing accounts receivable and following up on outstanding claims. Posting payments and reconciling billing statements. Front Office Responsibilities Answering live calls for busy medical offices. Scheduling appointments and managing calendars. Handling EMR/EHR data entry and patient records. Assisting with insurance verification and prior authorizations. Required Qualifications & Skills 1+ years of experience working in a healthcare practice, hospital, or medical billing role. Medical billing experience is required knowledge of insurance claims, coding, and accounts receivable is a strong plus! Ability to answer and manage live calls in a professional manner. Daytime availability during business hours. Tech-savvy ability to work in multiple medical and administrative software programs. Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Multi-tasking skills ability to handle various administrative and billing tasks efficiently. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus!
