WordPress Web Designer

Angel City VA is looking for a WordPress Web Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for creating a modern, responsive, and brand-aligned websites using WordPress and elementor. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for visual design, including typography, spacing, and solid development skills. This is a full-time remote position working U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT) hours. Schedule: -Full-time, 40 hours per week -Working hours aligned with New York (Eastern Time) Key Responsibilities: -Design and develop custom WordPress websites using the Elementor page builder -Create responsive, mobile-friendly designs with strong visuals -Design web page mockups in Figma or a similar design application -Developer and implement custom page templates and layouts Maintain and update existing websites, including content updates. -Ensure cross browser and cross device compatibility -Make timely modifications to website pages and structures based on department needs Required Skills and Qualifications: -2-4 years of experience building and designing WordPress websites -Expert-level proficiency with Elementor Proficiency with Figma or equivalent design tools -Strong understanding of responsive web design principles Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript -Familiarity with technical SEO (page speed, schema, meta tags) -Reliable internet connection and ability to work in EST hours Preferred Qualifications: -Experience with social media graphics or content -Familiarity with SEO link-building concepts How to Apply: Submit the following: -Your resume. -A ​​​​​​portfolio link showcasing your design and development work. ​​​​​​​-​​​​​​​Links to 2-3 WordPress sites you are most proud of.
