[Remote] Associate Principal Engineer (eMEP)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DMA Engineering is a Colorado-based eMEP engineering firm, recognized for its expertise in sustainable eMEP solutions and energy-efficient design. We are seeking a driven and proactive Associate Principal Engineer to manage projects and drive initiatives forward while collaborating with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle
- Develop and improve standard operating procedures
- Oversee resources, timelines, budgets, and client requests
- Perform engineering work from energy modeling and design to writing commissioning plans
- Handle engineering projects from start to finish while knowing when and how to delegate tasks to team members or subcontractors
- Build strong client relationships and maintain high standards of project management and delivery
Skills
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing issued by any U.S. state or territory
- Five years of direct industry experience in mechanical engineering design, including work in HVAC design
- Two years of experience as a project engineer
- One year of experience managing junior personnel
