[Remote] Business Analyst (Finance)

The role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, and supporting various phases of project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with business goals
- Work closely with technology teams to translate business needs into effective system solutions
- Conduct gap analysis, develop use cases, and support UAT and implementation phases
- Partner with financial and operations teams to enhance performance, compliance, and reporting efficiency
- Support data analysis, process re-engineering, and system integration within Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) projects
Skills
- 9+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in the Banking, Financial Services
- Strong understanding of Core Banking, Payments, Risk, KYC, AML, or Investment Banking
- Proficiency with SQL, Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and process documentation tools
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
- Experience with Regulatory and Compliance frameworks (Basel III, AML, KYC, FATCA) is an advantage
